Tyler Lockett Leads Team In Receptions, Yards

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett led the team in receptions and receiving yards in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The ninth-year veteran caught all six of his targets for 89 receiving yards, his highest total since Week 10. Concerns that quarterback Geno Smith (groin) would cede a start to backup Drew Lock came true, but it did not hamper Lockett who outdid his three-catch, 30-yard performance against the Niners two weeks ago. Lockett has not provided many boom weeks for fantasy managers in 2023, but he provides a safe floor in PPR leagues. Next week the Seahawks play the Philadelphia Eagles who have allowed the most receptions and touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in the league, making Lockett a viable option even if Lock draws another start.
